* Any future legislative attack on the 2nd Amendment enacted after the initiative takes effect (Dec 5, 2024).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The initiative promotes\u00a0a very simple message: these restrictions make no sense for law-abiding citizens defending themselves.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Criminals \u2014 those who aren\u2019t allowed to possess firearms under state and federal law \u2014 will continue to be subject to these restrictions. But law-abiding citizens will not.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
In other words, the government should use its limited resources to target criminals and leave law-abiding citizens alone.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

To make copies, all\u00a0you have to do is this: click on\u00a0 the petition\u2019s link<\/a><\/span><\/span>,<\/span> download and save\u00a0the PDF file on a thumb drive, and take\u00a0it into a local copy store (Minuteman Press, Staples, Office Depot, FEDEX Kinkos, Sir Speedy, or others)\u00a0and get\u00a0copies made (must be printed double-sided, 11\u2033x17\u2033 \u2014 for fun, get them printed on color\u00a0paper \u2014 orange, yellow, light blue, green \u2014 makes them look a lot cooler).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
